What does RubriCheck do?
RubriCheck compares your essay or assignment draft with the rubric you provide, estimates score ranges, and highlights revision priorities before submission.
How can I check my essay against a rubric?
Add your essay and the full rubric in the separate input fields, then run an evaluation. Compare the results with each rubric criterion and revise the gaps that matter most to your assignment.
Is RubriCheck free to try?
Explore a prepared sample or get one summary-only preview of your own assignment without signing up. Sign up for 3 free checks with no card required, including estimated scores and the leading improvement priority. Detailed criterion feedback and Strict mode require credits or Pro; rewrite suggestions require Pro.
Does RubriCheck give an official grade?
No. RubriCheck gives AI-generated estimates and revision guidance. Your instructor determines the official grade, and you should review feedback against the original rubric.
What can I upload?
Upload your rubric and assignment as PDF, DOCX, TXT, PNG, JPG, or JPEG files, or paste their text. Include readable text, complete rubric rows, and all relevant assignment pages.
Can I start without a rubric?
Yes. Choose No rubric in the workspace to use general criteria. Add assignment instructions if you have them. For feedback specific to a course, use the instructor’s rubric when available.
Check without a rubricWhat if my upload cannot be read?
Check that the file uses a supported format and that every page is readable. For scans or photos, use a clear, upright image. You can also select Text and paste the content directly. Keep rubric and assignment text in their separate fields.
How do I sign in or restore my purchases?
Select Log in and enter the email used for your account or purchase. Enter the verification code sent to that inbox. Check spam if the email is missing, and use the same address on another device to restore access.
What is the difference between credits and Pro?
Top-ups are one-time purchases for evaluations with Strict Mode and full evaluation feedback. Pro includes an evaluation allowance and rewrite suggestions. See Pricing for current plans, limits, and purchase options.
Compare plansWhere can I manage billing or request a refund?
After signing in, open Billing and refunds from your account controls to see available management options. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase and usage; review the refund policy for details.

Signed-in evaluations appear in Recents in the workspace sidebar. Use Projects to group related drafts and their versions. My rubrics lets you reuse a rubric saved from a successful signed-in check.
What happens to my uploaded work?
RubriCheck processes your inputs to generate feedback. Guest previews are retained for 24 hours; saved account history and rubric files follow their own retention rules. Read the data retention policy for what is stored and how to request deletion.
